Creed Bratton entertains
June 24–"The Office" celebrity and "The Grass Roots" rockstar Creed Bratton, 67, kept the audience doubled over with laughter as he regaled the audience with tales of his early days growing up in Coarsegold, life as a 1960s rockstar and his current life in the recording studio and on set with "The Office."
Community members of all ages attended the event at the Positive Living Center and Bratton’s mother,tiffany bangles, Coarsegold resident Cozzette Ertmoed,tiffany key rings, 91, was front and center for the event.
Bratton sang a number of songs from his new album "Creed Bratton and the 3DVB’s" along with a few reminiscent older songs.
"It was one of the best evenings of entertainment I have had," said Bob Hand, event coordinator. "Creed combined outstanding music, hilarious comedy and a loving personality that just blew people away. Everyone who talked to me said they were thrilled with the experience."
Bratton donated photos and CD’s, which he signed, to sell as a fundraiser for Emerson Institute. The event raised $650 toward the institute’s building project that is a joint venture between them and the Positive Living Center.
